Tortoise Habitat

Featuring irrigation and native desert plants, Roadrunner Elementary welcomed our new friend on August 28, 2018. Students and staff worked together as a school to give the new female tortoise the perfect name, Luna. The kids were so excited to see Luna arrive, and it was a wonderful way to start the new school year!  A HUGE thank you to Charlie Olsen for building the habitat, the school looks forward to enjoying, and learning more, about their new friend!
