Student Using Inhaler

I am thrilled to be the Health Assistant here on campus! I am an MUSD parent with 2 children who attend school in MUSD.

I am the contact point for students who take medication during the school day. When necessary over the counter or prescription medications can be dispensed to your child once you bring in the medication along with a completed permission form. All medications must be in the original container. Please remember, we do not keep medications on hand to give to students unless brought in by parents.

I maintain and update all student immunization records, as well as complete hearing and vision screenings annually for each student.

Every student must have an up-to-date immunization on file from a documented source. To learn about student immunization requirements and our Health Services Department, please visit the Health & Wellness section of our website or refer to the Health Services section in the Student/Parent handbook for additional tips and guidelines.

I work closely with Amy Moore, our school secretary, and Julia Bugbee, our attendance clerk to ensure our students are healthy and happy.

If you have any concerns regarding the health and well-being of your child, please don’t hesitate to contact me anytime between 7:00 am and 3:30 pm.
