Roadrunner Recognized as a PBIS Level 4 School!

We are excited to share some amazing news with our Roadrunner community. Roadrunner has been officially recognized as a PBIS Level 4 Award School by the Arizona PBIS Coalition! This is the highest level of PBIS recognition in the state, and we are incredibly proud of the students, staff, and families who made this achievement possible.
What is a PBIS Level 4 Award?
PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) is a research-based framework that helps schools create positive, predictable, and supportive environments for all students. A Level 4 Award means that Roadrunner has:
-
Implemented PBIS with full fidelity across all three tiers of support:
-
Tier 1: Universal supports for all students
-
Tier 2: Targeted supports for students who need additional guidance
-
Tier 3: Individualized interventions for students with the highest needs
-
-
Demonstrated positive results, including improved student behavior and academic success.
-
Used data to guide decisions, showing decreases in problem behaviors and increases in positive outcomes.
This recognition represents the highest PBIS honor and positions Roadrunner to be considered for the even more prestigious Model School Award.
How schools earn this recognition
To achieve Level 4 status, schools must apply in the spring and submit:
-
Fidelity data using the Tiered Fidelity Inventory (TFI)
-
Outcome data, including discipline referral information
-
Evidence of consistent, schoolwide implementation of PBIS practices
The Arizona PBIS Coalition reviews all submissions to ensure that Level 4 schools are truly models of excellence.
What this means for Roadrunner students and families
This award is a celebration of our commitment to nurturing a safe, supportive, and positive learning environment. It reflects:
-
The hard work of our staff
-
The positive choices made by our students
-
The partnership and encouragement from families
Thank you for continuing to support our PBIS practices at home and at school!
